The next meeting of the working group "Corporate Governance, Investments, Investors Protection, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility" was held.

The next meeting of the Working Group on "Corporate Governance, Investments, Investor Protection, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility" of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings was held on November 26, 2021, at 02:30 pm through the online platform "Zoom".

 

The meeting discussed the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Action Plan of the Working Group for 2021, including the proposed amendments to the Civil, Civil Procedure and Tax Codes and other measures, in this regard the important tasks ahead. In addition, the sides exchanged views on a number of issues proposed to be included in the draft Action Plan for 2022, as well as the organization of electronic document management in companies, the use of electronic signatures, problems faced by shareholders in over-the-counter transactions, notarization of transactions. The online meeting was attended by employees of relevant government agencies, as well as representatives of the private sector, including Deloitte & Touche, PwC Azerbaijan and a number of other organizations.

 

Furthermore, the sides exchanged views on the issues to be discussed at the next meeting of the Working Group.
